Why We Do It
At Pumps for Patients, the why is even more important than the what.
And our why is a young girl named Hannah.
In summer 2020, Hannah was diagnosed with pediatric cancer. While dealing with the emotional, physical, and financial ramifications of this new diagnosis, Hannah’s mom Heidi learned something else, too:
Chemo drugs can ruin a home’s septic system.
Heidi called All-American Septic Pumping to request urgent septic pumping, and co-owners Mathew and Nicki Deines decided then and there to provide the service free of charge.
Realizing the need is much greater than a single company’s capacity, Mathew and Nicki founded Pumps for Patients — and the rest is history!
